RIO DE JANEIRO: Oil production in Brazil fell and natural gas output rose in October from the prior month, oil regulator ANP said on Monday.
Oil output slipped 0.9 percent to 2.627 million barrels per day, while natural gas production rose 0.5 percent to 115 million cubic meters per day. Production from Brazil's coveted offshore presalt layer fell 2.9 percent to 1.628 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, the regulator added.
