ISE index gains 35.99 points

Equities moved both ways at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where investors adopted a cautious approach under the lead of hot favourite amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 35.99 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 2,772.55 to 2,808.54 points. The overall turnover amounted to 152,900 shares as compared to previous volume of 46,000 shares.
Total 134 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (80) closed in positive territory, 54 closed in negative territory, whereas zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The turnover of Bank Al Falah Limited was 89,000 shares. The volume of Fatima Fertiliser was 20,000 shares. The turnover of BYCO Petroleum was 16,500 shares.
