Capital Police nabbed nine outlaws including two foreigners and recovered two pistols, one magazine, 2.11 kg charas, 13 bottles of liquor and other stolen items from their possession, said a spokesman of Islamabad Police on Wednesday. Shahzad Town Police after hectic efforts succeeded in chasing an accused Ratas Khan allegedly involved in theft.
Police recovered stolen items worth thousands of rupees from his possession, the spokesman said. He said that Shahzad Town Police during a routine patrolling arrested a lady smuggler Nargis Khan and recovered 510 gram of charas from her possession. Another drug pusher Riaz was also arrested by police and 510 gram of charas was recovered from him.
In another incident, Sabzi Mandi Police responded to an information and arrested a drug pusher Abdul Wahab and 1.11 kg of charas was recovered from his possession. Tarnol Police during routine patrolling stopped a lady Farasat Bibi and on search one pistol (30-bore) and five bullets were recovered from her. Another person Manzoor Hussain was arrested by Tarnol Police and one pistol (9mm) and a magazine were recovered from him.
Aabpara Police responded on information and raided a slum and recovered 13 bottles of liquor from Sajjad masih. Koral Police during a routine patrolling stopped two Afghan nationals namely Aminullah and Tamas Khan and took them into custody after they failed to provide any documents regarding their entry and stay in Pakistan. Separate cases were registered against the detained persons.
