Nine renegade legislators: PML-Q files reference with Punjab Assembly Speaker

Punjab Assembly Leader of PML-Q party Chaudhry Zaheer-u-Din here on Thursday talking to journalists said that reference has been filed with Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal against nine renegade legislators of his party that have formed functional group and have joined hands with PML-N.
He said reference would also be filed against other renegade legislators of his party pointing that present chief minister of Punjab had lost majority vote in the assembly. He said that Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif take fresh vote of confidence. Chaudhry Zaheer-u-Din said with parting of ways with PPP new vote of confidence was necessary.
He said reference had been filed against Atta Maneka, Dr Tahir Ali Javed, Nasreen Lodhi, Tariq Mahmood, Chaudhry Muhammad Arshad, Saba Sadik, Farhana Afzal, Aisha Javed and Julias Rofin. He said blatant facts of democracy could not be changed. He said these legislators of functional group who show repentance would be allowed back in the fold of PML-Q.
