Implementation Commission of the parliament reiterated its commitment that no employee shall be laid off and that the employees of the devolved ministries in Islamabad will not be dislocated from their present station. This decision was taken in the 41st meeting of the Implementation Commission held here on Tuesday in Parliament House under the Chairmanship of Mian Raza Rabbani, Chairman Implementation Commission and Federal Minister for Inter Provincial Co-ordination.
Members of the Commission, Syed Naveed Qamar, Federal Minister for Privatisation, MNA Dr Farooq Sattar, Senator Rehmatullah Kakar, Chaudhry Abdul Rauf, Secretary Establishment, Justice (R) Raza Muhammad Khan, Secretary Cabinet, Secretary IPC and representatives of the Ministry of Planning and Finance attended the meeting. The meeting reviewed the process of devolution of the five ministries which would be completed by the mid of March.
