International moot Surgicon 2011 begins on March 12

Health professionals from all over the world are converging on the city of Lahore to participate in a 2-day International Conference Surgicon 2011 being organised at Allama Iqbal Medical College/Jinnah Hospital Lahore. The inaugural ceremony will be held on 12th March at the College Auditorium in which medical experts from USA, UK, Singapore, Ireland and Sri Lanka are expected to participate.
Associate Professor of PGMI, Dr Afsar Ali Bhatti said on Wednesday that Surgicon 2011 is being organised by Pakistan Society of Surgeons Lahore. He further said that before inauguration of the conference, pre-conference workshops would also be organised at AIMC Auditorium in which different procedures would be displayed on large screen directly from the operation theaters for updating the knowledge of young surgeons.
