Contract officers of Social Welfare Ministry: Prime Minister advises President for regularisation

Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has advised the President for the regularisation and pay protection of 74 contract officers of Ministry of Social Welfare and Special Education as a special case. The proposal was submitted to the Prime Minister's Secretariat based on the advice of the Finance Division and Establishment Division to solve the outstanding hardship cases concerning regularisation of contract period/pay protection of the officers.
The advice of the Prime Minister is submitted to the President under section 23 of the Civil Servant Act 1973.
