At least three persons including a minor boy were killed and another minor was injured in separate incidents at various parts of the metropolis here on Thursday. According to police, a man was shot dead while his minor son was injured at Ali Akbar Shah Goth in the limits of Ibrahim Hyderi police station.
They said that unknown armed pillion riders sprayed bullets on Hameed Hussain, 27, son of Ghulam Hussain when he was sitting with his friend at a shop along with his five-year-old son Mohammad Hassan. Resultantly Hameed died on the spot while his son sustained bullets wounds. After committing the crime, the culprits managed to flee from the scene. Body and injured were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) through Chippa ambulance for medico legal formalities and treatment. No case was registered till filing of this report. In another incident, a minor boy was crushed to death outside his house at Mawach Goth Baldia in the limits of Mochko police station.
A rashly driven passenger bus hit a six-year old Umar Khan son of Mohammad Khan when he was playing outside his house at Mawach Goth and ran way. Resultantly he died on the spot. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) and later handed over to his family.
Yet another young man was killed and his brother was injured in a road mishap near Inquiry Office in the jurisdiction of Nazimabad police station. The victim Waseem Jan, 25 son of Jan Mohammad was hit by a speeding vehicle when he was going on his motorcycle along with his brother namely Mohammad Ali, 21 near Inquiry Office Nazimabad. Resultantly Waseem succumbed to his injures on the way to hospital while his brother was survived and shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for treatment. No case was registered till filing of this report.
