Unknown insurgents blew up Government Girls Primary school with an improvised explosive device (IDEs) in Malik Yaseen Killey at Landi Kotal on Thursday, Political Authority said. The political administration said some unknown insurgents blown up Government Girl's Primary School in Sadu Khel village at Landi Kotal in wee hours.
The school building was partially damaged due to planted explosive material. The number of destroyed schools stands at 12 in Landi Kotal and 33 in Khyber Agency. After the incident the Security Force and political administration jointly started rescue activities. No loss of life was reported so far.
