The political administration of Khyber Agency destroyed poppy crop on seven-kanal land in Lowey Shalman, tehsil Landi Kotal on Thursday. According to details, the political administration on information launched operation and destroyed poppy crop in the area.
The administration also issued notices to four concerned landowners included Asal Dad, Bahadar Khan Yarzali and Anar Khan before it on Saturday and in case of failure warned them of stern action. Assistant Political Agents Landi Kotal, Mohammad Iqbal Khattak told media men that poppy cultivation in Landi Kotal was banned and written agreements between elders and political administration were also signed in this regard.
