A social organisation, known as Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD) in order to help ease economic woes of flood affectees launched 'Mudaraba' scheme, enabling tthem to set up small business This was stated by Fazl-ur-Rehman HHRD Country Director, while addressing a huge gathering during a launching ceremony of the scheme held here on Friday.
It is pertinent to mention here that under the scheme, business would be carried out on profit and loss basis in flood affected areas across the country. On the occasion, 50 persons were given cow, bull and other animals to start livestock business, which might help steer them out of generational grinding poverty trap.
He further said that the scheme might an usher an era of prosperity, which would be launched in the first phase in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab, while in the second it would be launched in Sindh and Balochistan. The scheme was launched with the aim to enable the underprivileged people to start their own business to make them honourable citizen of the society by reducing their economic woes, he concluded.-PR
