The Lahore High Court on Friday rejected bail petition of a man who killed his real mother on property issue. Accused Naveed Sultan through his counsel pleaded that he had not killed his mother but police forced him to admit the crime, which he has not committed. The counsel further pleaded that police had no direct evidence against the accused.
A state lawyer, present in the court, said that after the incident the accused went to police station and surrendered himself. The accused had admitted that he killed his mother due to a property dispute, lawyer added. The court after hearing both parties observed that the accused was not entitled to concession of bail and dismissed the petition.
