Training programme on Supply Chain Management held

Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) in collaboration Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), Centre for Supply Chain Research, School of Business and Economics and University of Management and Technology (UMT) at Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) arranged a one day training programme on Supply Chain Management.
The main concept of this training programme was to enhance the knowledge and skills of participants especially from small and medium enterprises regarding Supply Chain Management. The contents like understanding the supply chain, supply chain winning strategy, supply chain drives, purchasing and procurement, supplier selection, supplier development and evaluation, designing distribution networks in supply chain, supply chain mapping, warehousing performance measurement, transportation in supply chain and supply chain strategies were discussed in the training programme. Purchase managers, manager operations, inventory managers, supply chain managers, women entrepreneurs, students and business development services providers participated in the training programme.
