At least 22 Indian fishermen were taken into custody for violation of Pakistan's territorial waters on Friday. The authorities have also confiscated six fishing boats of Indian fishermen. According to the Maritime Security Agency (MSA), these Indian fishermen carrying six boats violated Pakistan's territorial waters during fishing.
Therefore, the MSA arrested them on account of violation of marine limits of Pakistan and confiscated their boats as well. MSA sources said these detained Indian fishermen were handed over to local police after initial interrogation. Meanwhile, Docks police have registered an FIR (57/11) under section 3/9 and 3/4 of Foreign Act.
