The Hindu community of Pakistan celebrated Holi festival on Saturday across the country. Hindu families residing in various villages of Cholistan including 55 D.B, 112 D.B and Chanan Peer area also celebrated Holi and showered colours on each other and offered special prayers at temples.
This year Holi was celebrated with simplicity due to the assassination of minority leader and Federal Minister for Minorities Affairs Shahbaz Bhatti. The festival of Holi is celebrated on the last full moon of winter season.
