The Chair-man of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has thanked the Amnesty International for its latest report projecting the gross human rights violations by Indian troops in occupied Kashmir. The APHC Chairman was talking to a three-member delegation of the Amnesty International that met him at his residence in Srinagar, on Tuesday, Kashmir Media Service reported.
He urged the world human rights bodies to continue their pressure on India to stop state terrorism in the occupied territory and release all illegally detained Kashmiri Hurriyet leaders and activists languishing in different jails. On the other hand, senior APHC leader, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, in his statement felicitated the people and government of Pakistan on the eve of Pakistan Day, tomorrow.
