District administrator Mirpurkhas Ghulam Hussain Memon has said that Aaj News television has get the position for majority of its viewership on basis of its trusted and breaking news not only at country level but also at world level.
This he said while speaking the cake cutting ceremony in connection with sixth anniversary of Aaj News television ceremony organised by National Press Club and Mirpurkhas Union of Journalists here on Wednesday. On this occasion DPO Mirpurkhas Zulfiqar Mahar, office-bearers and members of Mirpurkhas Press Club, National Press Club and other journalists participated in large numbers.
A 5-pound cake was cut and rich tributes were also paid to late M A Zuberi; also those present offered joint prayers for prosperity of Aaj News. District Administrator Ghulam Hussain Memon lauded the services of management and team workers of Aaj News. DPO Zulfiqar Mahar said that Aaj News was one top news channel of Pakistani electronic media which was paying vital role by presenting the basic public issues and national issues. He said that the government had directed to watch Aaj News and made action or re-action after airing of the news on Aaj TV he added. On this occasion President National Press Club Qamaruddin, General Secretary Reporter Aaj News Hashim Shar, Afaq Ahmad, Joint secretary Mirpurkhas Press Club Wahid Hussain Phelwani, Senior journalists Saleem Azad, Nazeer Hussain Phanwar, Sajjad Rind, Irfan Qureshi, Rafique Kallar and others also spoke.
