The DG Khan Cement Company Ltd (DGKCC) is awarded with Outstanding Achievement award 2011 by the FLSmidth A/s, Denmark, a world renowned Danish cement industry equipment supplier.
Ambassador of Denmark Uffe Wolffhechel and FLSmidth Vice-President Kristian A. Gregersen conferred the award on Chief Executive DGKCC Raza Mansha in the presence of large number of representatives from industry, banking and officials both from public and private sectors at a local hotel. Chairman DG Khan Cement Company Ltd (DGKCC) Mian M. Mansha was also present on the occasion.
It may be mentioned here that the DGKCC has made new global records during financial year 2009-10 by achieving ever highest clinker production of over 2.281 million tons with a kiln capacity utilisation of 104 percent and plant operational days of 346.5.
Speaking on the occasion, Danish Ambassador congratulated DGKCC for bench marking global standards of excellence and mapping Pakistan's business community among world business leaders.
He extended his full support for creating more Danish-Pakistan business opportunities within energy and the cement sector, stating that FLSmidth and DGKCC were successful players in promoting Pakistan and Denmark as partners for global excellence.
Raza Mansha said his team had invested a lot of efforts in Research and Development for increasing productivity to achieve customer satisfaction in the wide market zones of north and south of Pakistan.
VP FLSmidth and Zain-ul-Haq Qureshi from Falcon Engineering Services highlighted the excellent co-operation existing between DGKCC and FLSmidth, Denmark.
