Pakistan International Squash Circuit-I tournament, under the aegis of Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF), and in collaboration with Capital Development Authority (CDA), commenced here at Mushaf Squash Complex. The tournament has a prize purse of US $10,000.
A group of 16 players participated in the pre-qualifying round of the tournament. The qualifying round was held on March 26 and 27, 2011, whereas the main round commenced on March 28 and final match would be held on March 31, 2011. Earlier, Pakistan Squash Federation organised an ASF recognised Referees Course at Mushaf Squash Complex, Islamabad from March 22 - 24, 2011. A group of 13 referees from all over the country attended the course. On culmination of the course, a ceremony was held on March 24 for distribution of certificates. Air Vice Marshal Syed Razi Nawab, Senior Vice-President, PSF graced the occasion and awarded certificates to the participants.-PR
