Soyabean futures were up 0.5 percent on Tuesday on concerns that more profitable corn and cotton could pull acreage away from beans when US farmers plant their crops this spring. Chicago Board of Trade May soyabean futures rose 7 cents, or 0.5 percent, to $13.55-1/2 per bushel by 12:40 p.m. CDT (1740 GMT). CBOT May corn was down 4 cents, or 0.6 percent, at $6.67 per bushel.
CBOT May wheat was up 8 cents, or 1.1 percent, at $7.33-1/4 a bushel.
