Accountability court declares Ishaq Dar proclaimed offender
Accountability court declared on Monday former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar proclaimed offender due to his continuous failure to appear before the court regarding corruption references filed by National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
During today’s hearing, Dar’s counsel submitted a fresh medical report before the court. Last week, Dar's counsel had told the court that he will submit Dar’s diagnosis report at the next hearing (today). The counsel also requested the court to delay the process of declaring Dar an proclaimed offender.
This request was objected by NAB prosecutor Imran Shafique, who said that all the medical reports submitted contradicted each other. The prosecutor asked Judge Muhammad Bashir to declare Dar an offender.

The court then adjourned the hearing till December 14.
