Four armed dacoits looted cash, gold ornaments and cell phones worth five million rupees from three jewellers near Adda Kachi Pakki early Friday morning.
According to police, jewellers Waheed Nadim, Muhammad Irfan and Sajid were travelling to Lahore by a car (LEJ-727), when they were near Adda Kachi Paki police post, in the limits of Fateh Shah police station, a car with four armed highway robbers intercepted them at gunpoint, looted cash, gold ornaments of 15 tolas and cell phones-all worth rupees five million. Police said the bandits later pushed the victims in their car and drove away. However, one of them succeeded to escape after unlocking the car door and informed the police.
