More than 5,000 people, including book-lovers, teachers, students and parents visited the stalls of Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) set up at the 25th Lahore International Book Fair 2011 held at Lahore Expo Centre from 7th to 11th April.
According to PEF spokesperson, visitors were shown documentaries and given information packs containing necessary details of PEF projects in 29 districts of Punjab. During the exhibition, local as well as foreign book sellers and publishers were given information packs with a view to sensitise them about the projects of public-private partnership to benefit more than one million deserving students of Punjab. The PEF spokesperson said they are committed to promotion of education in the marginalized segments in partnership with private educational institutions.
