Central Information Secretary of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI), Omar Sarfaraz Cheema has taken to task leader of the opposition in Chaudry Nisar Ahmad for maligning agencies in the Raymond Davis's case. In a press statement issued, here on Tuesday, he said Chaudry Nisar could not throw dust in the eyes of the people by distorting facts.
Raymond Davis was arrested by Punjab police, his case was tackled by the prosecution branch of Punjab police and the Punjab government was instrumental in arranging his release. It, therefore, cannot plead innocence by saying that it had no hand in his release, he added.
Did not Punjab government make heirs of the deceased in Raymond Davis case agree to accept "Diyaat" money, did not Punjab government arrange his departure from an airport in Lahore, Cheema questioned. He said it was a 'fixed match' between Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan Peoples Party.-PR
