The 43rd death anniversary of great scholar and philosopher, Allama I. I. Kazi was observed in befitting manner at the University of Sindh, here on Wednesday. A Quran Khuwani was arranged at the Mausoleum of Allama I. I. Kazi and Elsa Kazi, which was attended by teachers, students, employees and also people from different walks of life.
Vice Chancellor, University of Sindh Professor Dr Nazir A. Mguhal, Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr Shah, deans of the faculties, Registrar, Dr Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro, senior Professors, noted scholar Dr Habibullah Siddiqui, teachers and students also attended the fateha.
The employees of the university paid tributes and laid floral wreath at the mausoleum of Allama I. I. Kazi. Dr Mughal paid rich tributes to Allama I. I. Kazi and said that he was great scholar. He further said that establishment of the University of Sindh was great dream of Allama I. I. Kazi which he actualised it with his all sincere efforts and added that education to youth was his first priority. He said that valuable services of Allama Kazi would always be remembered. He advised students to follow in his footsteps.
