At least four people were killed in separate incidents in the metropolis here on Friday. According to details, a man was shot dead near Round Tanki in Zubairi Colony within the limits of Pak Colony police station. The victim, Mohammad Waseem, 32, son of Mohammad Hussain, a resident of Saeedabad Baldia Town, was targeted by two armed men when he was on the way to his in-laws home in his motorcycle (KBD-3293). Resultantly, he received two bullets and died on the spot.
The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico legal formalities. Police said the victim, who was electrician by profession and a father of a daughter, was nominated in several robbery cases and was arrested twice. A case, 81/11, was registered against unidentified men on the complaint of victim's father-in-law Abdul Qadir.
A bullet-riddled body of a youth was found in Nullah in Korangi area in the limits of Awami Colony police station. The identity of the victim was yet to be ascertained while police found his body in Nullah situated at sector 28 K Area Korangi no 5. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for post-mortem and later moved the body to Edhi Morgue for identification. Police said the victim had been kidnapped by unidentified men, who threw his body in Nullah. Furthermore, police said the victim appeared to be in his mid twenty and Urdu speaking.
Yet another body was found from the bushes of Sector L-1 Surjani Town in the remits of Surjani police station. The body was found from near 4-K Chowrangi in the remits of Sarjani police station. The victim, who was later identified as Suleman, 45, son of Wilayat Khan, was the resident of Metrovil Site.
The body was shifted to ASH for legal formalities and later handed over his family. In another incident, a young man was killed while other injured in a road mishap at Hawks Bay road in the jurisdiction of Maripur police station. The victim, Irfan, 25, son of Abdul Wahab, a resident of sector 11 Orangi Town, was on the way to home on his motorcycle with his friend, Danish, 18, son of Rahat Hussain. The bike went out of control and they fell from it. Resultantly, Irfan died on spot while his friend Danish sustained injuries. The body and injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK).
