Lok Virsa in collaboration with Shifa Foundation Falahi Clinic organised a 2-day "Spring Festival" from Sunday to collect funds for welfare and treatment of poor patients and the flood affected people. The festival was facilitated by Lok Virsa (National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
The show featured an array of colourful programmes including musical shows, art and craft stalls, consumer goods, bouquet stalls, woodworks, ladies garments, jewellery and children attraction like face painting, games, etc. Many non-governmental organisations and corporate sector entities including Tameer-e-Millat Foundation, Abbott Pharmaceuticals, Albaraka Bank and others were also seen actively disseminating information on their projects during the festival.
