Cornelsen's Lextra vocabulary trainer app for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch has been upgraded with new functions. Along with the traditional mode, which offers everyday phrases in a foreign language, it's now possible to learn in a mode that translates directly from one's own tongue into a foreign language.
The app now comes with a statistics function, which notices which words the user recognised and how often. The app is available in English, French and Spanish, but also for languages like Russian and Portuguese. It costs 1.59 euros (2.25 dollars) for the first 2,000 words in each language. Purchasing an additional vocabulary of 2,000 words costs an additional 1.59 euros.
