Budgetary proposals: President calls meeting of businessmen on April 26

President Asif Ali Zardari has called a meeting of business community on April 26 for getting their proposals on the forthcoming 2011-12 Budget, it is learnt. According to sources, the President has invited representatives of leading business associations of Karachi, representatives of trade bodies, chartered accountants, representatives of chambers of commerce and industry along with business representatives of other big cities to discuss forthcoming budget and seek their proposals on it.
The business community would give guidelines to the government and present their proposals in the meeting on forthcoming budget. Sources said that Finance Minister Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh and Finance Secretary Salman Siddiqui and other officials of Finance Ministry would also attend the meeting.
