Pakistan Electric Power Company (Pepco) has announced to end unannounced load-shedding in Lahore Township Industrial Area while scheduled load-shedding would be conducted from 12:00 am to 5:00 am. The decision was made during a meeting between the Director General, Pepco and LTIA delegation on Friday.
Addressing industrialists of the area after meeting Director General Pepco, Chairman LTIA Haroon Shafiq Chaudhry said that the industrialists of the area will observe a complete strike on April 26th if Pepco fails to implement its decision by Monday, April 25th. He said that thousands of industrial workers and industrialists would take to the streets and Pepco will be held responsible for creating uncertainty and unrest among the business community.
