Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has urged the Sindh Government to complete on priority basis the development projects launched with the support of the Federal Government and whose 60 percent of work has already been completed. He also asked the provincial government to sort out the right of way issue of the Lyari Expressway for the early completion of this mega project.
The Prime Minister said this during a meeting with the Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan and Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, at the Governor House here on Friday evening soon after his arrival from Islamabad. He also approved allocation of Rs 50 million for construction of Lyari Sports Complex and said that this facility will help promote healthy activities in the area. Gilani said that rehabilitation work of the flood-affected areas of the province should also be completed expeditiously to mitigate the difficulties of the victims.
