Saudi Prince Bandar Bin Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud on Friday expressed warm sentiments of friendship between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan and reiterated his desire to further strengthen these relations in all areas of mutual interest. The Saudi Prince, in a letter addressed to Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani said," the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia deeply values its close, friendly and special relations with Pakistan."
He said that the relations are based on common bonds of faith, culture and traditions, mutual trust and confidence and popular sentiments of goodwill of the people of two countries. A Foreign Office statement said that the government and people of Pakistan hold the leadership of Saudi Arabia, especially Khadim Al-Harmain Al-Sharifain King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz in high esteem and remain deeply committed to further strengthening exemplary ties between the two brotherly countries.
