The Srinagar-Muzaffarabad bus service was suspended following landslides at Chakothi and other places. According to Kashmir Media Service, the weekly bus service between divided parts of Kashmir was suspended on Thursday. "The bus service between occupied Srinagar and Muzaffarabad was suspended due to landslides at Chakothi and other places in Muzaffarabad," the officials told media men.
The passengers who had planned their visit will now be accommodated in the next bus, the official added. The bus service was started on April 7, 2005, to allow divided families to meet each other.
