Christians serving in Children Complex, Multan, on Saturday staged a demonstration and blocked the city's main road by observing sit-in as protest against non-payment of their salaries before Easter as directed by both federal and provincial governments.
The protestors were demanding immediate transfer of the Medical Superintendent of Children Complex who, according to them, was responsible for their miseries. They asked: "How can we celebrate Easter when we are penniless".
