Islamabad Police in its drive against the outlaws have nabbed 21 persons for alleged involvement in drug pushing, frauds, immoral activities and other crimes, said a spokesman of Islamabad Police, here on Saturday. Islamabad Police have arrested three drug pushers including a woman during a raid in `Badia Rustam' in the jurisdiction of Golra Police Station and also recovered heroin from their possession, the spokesman said.
CIA Police headed by DSP Bashir Noon along with Golra Police raided a house in `Badia Rustam' in rural area of the Federal Capital and arrested Sakeena Bibi wife of Ameer Abdullah and Muhammad Afzal son of Ghulam Hussain, residents of Jhang and their other accomplice Tanveer Jadoon son of Faiz Khan. Police recovered 360 gram heroin from their possession and they confessed their involvement in selling heroin to the addicts in the area. During a preliminary investigation, it was known that husband of Sakeena Bibi is also in jail due to his involvement in heroin smuggling. The CIA also nabbed five persons identified as Shaukat Ali son of Hashism resident of Khanewal, Ibrahim Khan s/o Sartaj Khan, Muahmamad Waheed son of Muhammad Arif, Muhammad Asif son of Muhammad Rafique and Nadeem Hussain Shah for selling pornography. Koral Police nabbed 12 persons from Sanam Chowk due to their involvement in immoral activities.
Koral Police also nabbed a person Zahid Saeed claiming to be a police employee but he was a fake policeman and cap of police uniform was also recovered from him. SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan has appreciated the performance of CIA police team and directed all police officials to curb the activities of anti-social elements.
