Total open interest at the futures counter declined by 12.6 percent during the week ended on April 24, 2011 to Rs 1.35 billion. The futures spreads also reduced by 10.28 percent to -1.03 percent.
Trading at the futures counter, however, improved and the average daily volume increased by 17 percent to 2.9 million shares.
The top 5 scrips at the futures counter, constituting 64 percent of the total open interest, were POL, Enro, LUCK, MCB and DGKC.
