Balochistan Chief Minsiter Nawab Aslam Raisani has ordered a probe into the millions of rupees misappropriation, which has been detected in province's biggest Pat Feeder Canal Expansion project. Inspection team launched probe into the embezzlement.
Official sources while confirming millions of Rupees misappropriation in the project said that an investigation had been launched into the alleged misappropriation. Chief Minister's inspection team would soon inspect the project. Project documents have been obtained.
It may be added here that Pat Feeder Canal Expansion Project would irrigated more than 0.25 million acres of land in Dera Bugti, Jhal Magsi, Tamboo, Nasirabad and District Kachhi. It was executed 10 years ago but still it is incomplete.
