Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ms. Hina Rabbani Khar called on Saudi Vice Finance Minister Dr Hamad bin Sulaiman Al-Bazai at his office in Riyadh on Sunday and discussed matters of mutual interests. Both the ministers discussed bilateral relations and co-operation between the two countries especially in the field of economy and means and ways to bolster these ties.
Khar expressed the appreciation of the Pakistani government for the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the reconstruction and rehabilitation works in Pakistan following the floods in 2010.
The meeting was attended by Director General of Saudi Export Programme of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) Ahmed Al-Ghannam, the Acting Deputy of the Ministry of Finance for Economic Affairs Dr Sulaiman Al-Turki, Saudi ambassador to Pakistan Abdul Aziz Al- Ghadeer, chargé d'affaires, Pakistani Embassy in Riyadh, Ayaz Muhammad Khan.
