12 killed in 'terrorist attack'

At least 12 people were killed and several others injured in an alleged terrorist attack near Sibi in the wee hours of Tuesday, a private TV channel reported. According to the channel, the incident took place on National Highway at a patrol pump when fire broke out in an inter-provincial bus carrying 50 to 60 passengers including women and children.
Quoting the details, the channel further said that the bus was moving towards Quetta from Peshawar. Eyewitness said that three unidentified-armed assailants entered the bus, threw patrol over the passengers, put fire and fled. As a result, 12 people including four children were burnt alive, while several others received burn injuries, the channel further added.
