Iranian Consul General, Muhammad Husain Asadi called on former chief of Jamaat-i-Islami, Qazi Husain Ahmed at Mansoora on Tuesday and exchanged views with him on matters of bilateral interest. The two leaders underscored the need for greater exchange of delegations comprising Ulema and religious scholars, traders and intellectuals between the two countries with a view to strengthening their relations in trade and culture.
They also agreed at developing strong trade ties among the Muslim countries in order to free the Muslim world from the dependence of aliens.
