Speaker Legislative Assembly of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq and son of AJK President Ali Zulqarnian on Wednesday formally announced to join Pakistan People Party (PPP). Addressing a press conference at Zardari House, they said they are joining PPP unconditionally and will work for the strengthening of the party.
President PPP Women Wing Faryal Talpour, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan, Federal Minister Khursheed Ahmed Shah, Manzoor Watoo, PPP General Secretary Jahangir Badar and Barrister Sultan Mehmood were also present on this occasion. Jahangir Badar speaking on the occasion said that PPP is fully prepared for up-coming elections in AJK and will win elections. Replying to question, he said PPP is united under the leadership of Co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari and Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and nobody will be succeed to create rift and disunity in the party.
Faryal Talpour congratulating Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq and Ali Zulqarnian on joining PPP, said it will strengthen the party. She said PPP is pursuing a policy of reconciliation and door of the party is open for all people. She said PPP do not believe in politics of confrontation and personal prejudice in the best interest of the country.
