The 70th session of the Senate has been summoned on May 2 (Monday) at 4:00 pm. According to a notification issued here on Wednesday, the President summoned the Senate to meet in the Parliament House, Islamabad in exercise of powers conferred on him by Clause 1 of Article 54 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
This will be the 70th of the overall and the second session of the new parliamentary year of the Senate. The House will discuss important issues of national importance besides taking up significant legislation.
