Chief Justice Lahore High Court here on Wednesday made transfer and posting among 18 District & Sessions judges (D&SJs).
D&SJ Muhammad Khalid Shabbir was transferred from Khanewal to Lahore, Javed Rasheed Mahboobi MIT, Lahore High Court from Lahore to Hafizabad, Muhammad Yousuf from Hafizabad to Lahore, Syed Maruf Ahmad Ali from Nankana Sahib to Lahore, Habib ur Rehman Judge, Anti Terrorism Court-I from Lahore to Gujrat, Moqurab Khan Special Judge, Anti Corruption Court from Sargodha to Chakwal, Sardar Ahmad Naeem from Pakpattan Sharif to Lahore, Syed Najam ul Hassan Najum Special Judge, Anti Corruption Court from Bahawalpur to Sahiwal, Muhammad Rashid Qamer from Vehari to Gujranwala, Abdul Hafeez Judge, Banking Court-1 from Lahore to Nankana Sahib, Salah ud Din D&SJ (Estt.), LHC from Lahore to Sheikhupura, Mujahid Mustaqim Ahmad from Gujrat to Lahore, Abdul Sattar from Sahiwal to Multan, Chaudhry Humayun Imtiaz Judge, Banking Court-II from Lahore to Kasur, Muhammad Ahmad Farooqi President LDA Tribunal from Lahore to Pakpattan Sharif, Nazir ahmad Aqeel Presiding Officer, Punjab Labour Court-VIII from Bahawalpur to Khanewal, Muhammad Siddiq Special Judge (Central) from Multan to Vehari, Nazir Ahmad Gujana from Kasur to Rawalpindi.
The LHC also posted Additional District and Sessions Judge, Lahore Ms Bushra Zaman as Additional Member Inspection Team-II, Lahore High Court, said a notification. In another special move the Lahore High Court on Wednesday posted Sohail Nasir, D&SJ/Judge Special Court (control of narcotics), Rawalpindi as registrar the Lahore High Court, Abdus Sattar Asghar is being elevated to LHC as additional judge. As per a notification issued on Wednesday, the LHC Chief Justice has directed six district and sessions judges to report to the Lahore High Court immediately as five of them are among the six ones whose names were recommended for appointment as LHC judges.
They D&SJs include Syed Kazim Raza Shamsi currently posted in Gujranwala, Abdul Waheed Khan in Lahore, Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah in Chakwal, Chaudhry Muhammad Younus in Sheikhupura, Mahmood Maqbool Bajwa in Rawalpindi and Syed Ijaz Hussain Shah in Multan. It is pertinent to mention here that Judicial Commission earlier recommended names of six D&SJs including Syed Kazim Raza Shamsi, Abdul Waheed Khan, Chaudhry Muhammad Younus, Mahmood Maqbool Bajwa, Syed Ijaz Hussain Shah and Abdus Sattar Asghar for their elevation to LHC as LHC additional judges.
