An application has been moved in the Lahore High Court for restraining DG NAB Rana Zahid Mahmood from performing his functions as his contract has expired. Petitioner Shah Faisal Qureshi through his counsel Muhammad Azhar Siddique Advocate filed CM in his main petition pending in the court challenging appointment of Zahid as DG NAB.
The petitioner said Zahid was employed on one-year contract on April 21, 2010 as Director General NAB and the period expired on 20th April, 2011. Therefore, he may be restrained from performing his duties.
