The 30 participants of the 11th Mid Career Management Course called on Inspector General of Police, Islamabad Wajid Ali Khan here in his office on Thursday.
During the meeting, they were briefed by the DIG (Headquarters) Islamabad Ahmed Mukaram regarding the establishment of Islamabad police and functioning of its three divisions ie Security, Logistics and Operations.
They were also briefed regarding initiation of New Beat System in Islamabad police and its working. The meeting was also attended by AIG (Operations) Ehsan Sadiq, AIG General Muhammad Khalid Khattak. After the briefing, questions and answer session was held and Wajid Ali Khan Durrani answered questions raised by the participants on various issues relating to crime, beat system, security, law and order situation etc. In the end, official shields were exchanged between IGP Islamabad Wajid Ali Khan and Director General NIM Quetta Mir Jawed Iqbal.
