President of Zarai Taraqiati Bank Ltd (ZTBL), Zaka Ashraf said on Saturday that agriculture sector can be revolutionised by focusing on small farmers uplift and enhanced productivity. He stated this at a meeting with people hailing from various walks of life including parliamentarians here.
Those who met the ZTBL President included Main Manzoor Ahmed Watto, Mahreen Anwar Raja, Sahibzada Gazanfar Gul, Belam Hasnain, Zahida Iftikhar, Senator Zafar Ali Shah, Ray Mujtaba Kharl, Mir Dost Muhammad Mazari, Rana M. Farooq ,Sardar Ameer Yar Khan, Chaudhry Saeed Iqbal, Tariq Tarar, Syed Mumtaz Alam Gillani, Sardar Saleem Haider, Muzam Jatoi, Ramesh Lal, Noman Islam Sheikh,Tasneem Qureshi, Sardar Bahadar Khan, Sardar Muhammad Shafqat, Nawabazada Mahmood Zeb Khan, Chaudhry Tariq Sahibzadi Nargis Ishaq Zafar, Muhammad Baksh Lashari, Ghulam Abbass, Chaudhry Abdul Chafoor, Fazal Ali Shah Jilani, Dr Khalid Khokhar, Afazal Sindhu, MNA, members of National and Provincial Assemblies. They apprised President ZTBL about the challenges and problems of the people of their respective areas in particular reference to agriculture.
The president ZTBL heard their problems and issued instruction to the respective officials of the bank for resolving their issues. The visitors appreciated Zaka Ashraf's personal interest in the agriculture sector and hoped that the ZTBL will continuously play its role in increasing small farmers income by providing them credit along with innovative technology.
