On the call of nine nationalist parties, a complete shutter down was observed and protest demonstrations held in Larkana and Kambar-Shahdadkot districts Saturday against incomplete house-listing in Sindh.
All major cities & towns including Ratodero, Naundero, Badah, Bakrani, Dokri, Larkana, Kambar, Shahdadkot, Warah, Lalu Rawank, Nasirabad, Wagan, Garrello, Balrheji, Karani, Mahotta, Miro Khan, Thoof Chosul, Beero Chandio, Khairpur Juso, Deedar, Ghogharo & Arija wore a deserted look as markets were shut and transport remained off the roads.
Only scattered motorcyclists were seen moving in the streets. Similarly, attendance in government and private offices remained very thin, while patients also faced a lot of troubles due to lack of public transport. Moreover, armed men set ablaze a big trailer-truck in Ratodero on Saturday morning. Police arrested eight activists of various political nationalist parties from Larkana alone in morning. The supporters of nationalist parties took out a protest rally, staged sit-in at Jinnah Bagh Chowk in Larkana wherein Ashiq Pohare, Athar Soomro, Mazahar Mughal, Ahmed Ali Tunio and others spoke.
