Gold prices improved by rupees 343 to Rs 40,885 per 10 grams in the local bullion market Saturday, as its international price increased to $1,496 an ounce, market sources said. According to Karachi Sarafa Association, tola (11.664 grams) price also increased by Rs 400 to Rs 48,700 while Silver closed at Rs 1,054.28 per 10 grams in the market.
