Provincial leader of Awami National Party (ANP) Faiz Ahmad Kakar was abducted by unknown kidnappers on early Monday. According to details, five to six unknown culprits intercepted the car (VRB-933) of Faizullah, 29 son of Noor Muhammad Kakar when he was travelling along with two other persons namely Abdul Rehman and Usman at Labour Square road at Gulshan-e-Maymar in the limits of Gadap Town.
The culprits, who held hostages three of them at gunpoint, released Abdul Rehman and Usman, shortly and took away Faizullah. Meanwhile, police registered a case 91/11 against unknown kidnappers under sections 365, 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code and initiated probe in this connection.
