Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief, Nawaz Sharif on Monday said US operation in Abbottabad is an attack on national sovereignty and integrity. The PML-N chief was talking to reporters during his visit to former Lahore Nazim, Mian Amer Mahmood's house.
Nawaz condole with Mahmood on the sad demise of his mother. He remained there for some time and offered Fateha for the eternal peace of the departed soul. He said the country was passing through very difficult times and they need to tackle the present situation, which was very threatening. He said that the meeting of PML-N's Central Executive Committee (CEC) would be held on Tuesday (today) to discuss the current situation. He said that today's meeting would discuss all the matters pertaining to the US operation, he added.
The PML-N chief maintained that the whole nation was concerned about the US attack at Abbottabad, which was another attack on the country's sovereignty. If notice of such incidents was not taken, the country would face further threats in the near future, he said.
